The result:  an emerging market for used green cars and trucks.  Tapping that demand, Ecarlogy® will be the nation’s first car dealership to exclusively sell pre-owned eco-friendly vehicles.

Using a hybrid online/bricks and mortar platform, Ecarlogy®  will sell vehicles that carry the U.S. EPA “Smartway” and “Smartway Elite” designations.  These cars, trucks and SUVs have combined air pollution and greenhouse gas scores that place them in the top tier of environmental performers.  From luxury hybrids to high-MPG, gas-powered economy cars, Ecarlogy®  will offer consumers in the U.S. – and beyond – a wide array of affordable, eco-friendly vehicles.

Ecarlogy®  is scheduled to launch in late 2011.  Retail sites are planned for Columbus, Ohio and Los Angeles.  The company also plans to export vehicles.
